AMALCO offers a capability and facility in contract metal fabricating / metal fabrication using either the DEEP DRAW or HYDROFORMING technologies that is difficult to duplicate. Virtually every machine or process needed to produce precision metal formed parts and assemblies can be found under one roof. Some of the manufacturing equipment has been designed and built by and for AMALCO. Being a vertically integrated company our processes minimize costs and give us the control necessary to comply with customers' detailed specifications and stringent delivery requirements. Our facilities meet the rigid Mil specs and standards required for Government, Aerospace and Military products. As a result, our commercial customers benefit from the same critical standards that allowed us to do defense contracting since 1910. * Amalco’sDeep Draw capabilities range in diameter from ½ inch to 24 inches with a maximum depth of 24 inches. (We have manufactured some specialty drawn enclosures as deep as 55 inches). Maximum blank size for deep drawing is 48 inches.
* Amalco’s Hydroforming capabilities can produce parts up to 15" in diameter & 10" deep. The maximum blank diameter for hydroforming is 21 inches.
*As a Value Added Service to our customers Amalco also performs secondary operations consisting of metal spinning, dip brazing, spot welding, heliarc welding, CNC machining, heat treating, piercing/blanking/forming, painting, anodizing, iriditing and light assembly. These services offer customers contract metal forming capabilities designed to minimize lead times and reduce costs. All manufacturing processes, as well as tool/die design, engineering, design services and prototyping are performed at this location in Mountainside NJ.
